ST Engg was highly commended under the Best IR by a Singapore Company category by IR Magazine.

The Asset Award
ST Engg was voted as A Leader in Corporate Governance, Singapore, in a survey by The Asset Benchmark Research.

Best Managed Boards Award 2003
ST Engg was named joint runner up by the Singapore Institute of Directors, the Business Times, the Singapore Business Federation, the Economic Development Board and the Singapore Exchange.

Asiamoney’s Corporate Governance Poll
ST Engg ranked second under the Capital Goods category in the annual poll by Asiamoney.

ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award and Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award 2003
Awarded to ST Elect, the Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA) and Chartered Electro-Optics for the Infrared Fever Screening System (IFss) and Contact Track & Trace System by the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisation and the Institution of Engineers Singapore respectively.
Defence Technology Prize Engineering Award (Team) 2003
Awarded by the Singapore Ministry of Defence to ST Elect’s subsidiary, SES Systems (SES), and DSTA for the Enterprise Command & Control Information System project for the innovative use of Information Technology for efficient assets and information management.

National Innovation And Quality Circles (IQC) Carnival 2003 Awards
ST Aero’s subsidiaries, ST Aerospace Systems (STA Systems) and ST Aerospace Engineering (STA Engineering), received two Gold Awards and a Silver Award respectively from SPRING Singapore.

Eureka Award
An innovation award presented to ST Kinetics for the 120mm Super Rapid Advanced Mortar System by SPRING Singapore.

eSupply Chain Management Certificate
Awarded to ST Elect’s subsidiary, Agilis Communication Technologies (Agilis), by the Singapore eSupply Chain Management.

ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
Awarded to Agilis.

ISO 9001:2000
VT Halter Marine received the ISO 9001:2000 certification after meeting the strict requirements of a quality standards audit performed by the American Bureau of Shipping. ST Marine upgraded its Quality Management System to the ISO 9001:2000 version as certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. Agilis upgraded to ISO 9001:2000.

Singapore Environmental Reporting Award 2002
Letter of Commendation awarded to ST Engg by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Singapore.

Quality, Environment, Health & Safety Certification
ST Kinetics was among the first in the industry to be awarded the three-in-one certification by SPRING Singapore.		 Safety Innovation Team Award
Gold Award presented to ST Marine by the Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI).

9th Safety Innovation Teams (SIT) Award 2003
Gold Award presented to ST Marine by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower.

Annual Safety Performance Award
Silver Award presented to ST Aero’s subsidiaries, STA Engineering, ST Aerospace Engines (STA Engines), STA Systems and ST Aerospace Supplies (STA Supplies), by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower.


Helping Employees Achieve Life-Time Health (HEALTH) Award
Gold Award presented to ST Aero and ST Elect by the Singapore Health Promotion Board. ST Aero’s subsidiaries STA Engineering, STA Engines, STA Systems and STA Supplies received the Silver award while ST Aviation Services Co (SASCO) received the Bronze.

National Day Commendation
ST Elect was commended for its significant contribution in helping Singapore overcome SARS with the IFss and Contact Track & Trace System.

May Day Award Plaque of Commendation (Gold)
Awarded to ST Marine by the Singapore National Trades Union Congress.

Patron of the Arts Awards 200
