2007 ST Kinetics celebrates its 40th Anniversary.
2006 

VT Leeboy, a US-based leading manufacturer of road construction and maintenance equipment, was acquired by VT Land Systems.

2005ST Kinetics' STAR Automotive Centre commenced operations in Hangzhou and Guangzhou.

ST Kinetics joint venture company, Guizhou Jonyang Kinetics Co., Ltd, was set up to design, manufacture and distribute excavators and related specialty engineering products.

ST Kinetics' Pegasus lightweight howitzer commissioned into service with the Singapore Armed Forces.

VT Specialized Vehicles Corporation, a US-based leading manufacturer of specialised truck bodies and trailers acquired by VT Land Systems.
2003

ST Kinetics' Primus 155mm 39 calibre self propelled howitzer was commissioned into service with the Singapore Armed Forces.

ST Kinetics and Beijing Heavy Duty Truck Plant set up Beijing Zhonghuan Kinetics Heavy Vehicles Co. Ltd. to design and produce specialised heavy commercial and industrial vehicles in China.

2001

ST Kinetics' Bronco all terrain tracked carrier was commissioned into service with the Singapore Armed Forces.

2000

ST Engineering acquired Chartered Industries of Singapore through ST Automotive to form ST Kinetics, its land systems arm.

1999

ST Automotive's Bionix infantry fighting vehicle was commissioned into service with the Singapore Armed Forces.

1997ST Aerospace, ST Electronics, ST Automotive, and ST Marine merged to form Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering).
1991Singapore Automotive Engineering was publicly listed and renamed ST Automotive.
1971 Singapore  Automotive Engineering (SAE) was formed to provide automotive related support for the Singapore Armed Forces.
1967Chartered Industries of Singapore Pte Ltd was incorporated.  It started off as a pioneer indigenous defence company making ordnance for the Singapore Armed Forces.
