YEAR 2012

ST Marine’s US operations, VT Halter Marine, had delivered the 112’ ATB offshore tug, Evening Star, for Bouchard Transportation Co., Inc. (Bouchard).

ST Marine injected additional capital into its associated company, Fortis Marine Solutions Pte Ltd. The capital injection will allow Fortis Marine Solutions to be fully operational.

ST Marine’s US operations, VT Halter Marine, had announced a partnership agreement with DCNS to submit a proposal to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for the design and construction of the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) offshore patrol cutter (OPC). The USCG anticipates to acquire as many as 25 OPCs to replace its existing fleet of 28 vessels built between1964 to 1991.

ST Marine sector was awarded S$179m worth of shipbuilding and repair contracts, which includes, a contract to build two additional offshore support vessels (OSVs) for Hornbeck Offshore Services, LLC; and a series of repairs and upgrading contracts to various types of OSVs such as drillship, dredgers and rig.

ST Marine’s US operations, VT Halter Marine, has become a member of the IMAGE program with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The ICE Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers (IMAGE) provides businesses an opportunity to partner with the agency to develop a more secure and stable workforce.

ST Marine was awarded a shipbuilding contract worth about S$880m from the Royal Navy of Oman, to design and build four patrol vessels. The project will commence immediately with the first vessel expected to be delivered in 2Q2015 and the final vessel in 3Q2016.

ST Marine has partnered with Swedish Kockums AB, to form a joint venture called Fortis Marine Solutions Pte. Ltd. with the primary objective of providing a higher level in-country capability in the refitting and life cycle support services for the submarine fleet.

ST Marine delivered the 141m Landing Platform Dock (LPD), which it designed and built for the Royal Thai Navy. The design of the LPD is proprietary to ST Marine and is based on its Endurance Class of LPDs.

YEAR 2011

ST Marine was awarded a shipbuilding contract worth about S$171m from Swire Pacific Offshore Operations (Pte) Ltd (SPO), a wholly owned subsidiary of Swire Pacific Limited to build and outfit four Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels.

ST Marine's US operations, VT Halter Marine, was awarded a contract to build a 112-foot ATB Offshore Tug for Bouchard Transportation Co., Inc. (Bouchard).

ST Marine secured a contract by Garuda Energy to convert a decommissioned jack-up rig into a Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU).

ST Marine won a conversion contract by Trinity Offshore Pte Ltd to convert the accommodation vessel Trinity Supporter to a multi-purpose offshore vessel.

ST Marine was awarded a contract from Van Oord ACZ to upgrade its Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger, Volvox Terranova.

ST Marine was contracted by Saipem (Portugal) Comercio Maritimo (Saipem) to provide additional upgrading work for its semi-submersible pipe-laying vessel, SEMAC 1.

ST Marine's US operations, VT Halter Marine, was awarded a contract to build a second Roll-On/Roll-Off Car Truck Carrier from Honolulu-based Pasha Hawaii (Pasha).

YEAR 2010

ST Marine's environmental arm, STSE Engineering Services Pte Ltd (STSE) incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, STSE Engineering Services (B) Sdn Bhd (STSEB), in Brunei. 

ST Marine's environmental arm, STSE Engineering Services, secured a contract to provide a proprietary loop-based Pneumatic Waste Collection System (PWCS) to collect recyclables, non-recyclables and food waste iin Tianjin's Eco-City's Eco-Business Park.

ST Marine's environmental arm, STSE Engineering Services, secured a contract to design and construct a modern Integrated Waste Management Facility in Brunei – its largest environmental engineering projects to date.

ST Marine's US operations, VT Halter Marine, was awarded a contract by the US Navy to build a 4th Fast Missile Craft for the Egyptian Navy.

ST Marine signed JV agreement with Hovertransport Consultants Ltd and Clearstone Investments LLC to form subsidiary, Hovertrans Solutions Pte Ltd.

YEAR 2009

ST Marine' environmental arm, STSE Engineering Services, was awarded a tender for the design, build and delivery of a Waste Transfer Station in Donghu Newtech Zone in Wuhan, China.

ST Marine secured contract for the logistics management of the RSN's warehouses at its Changi and Tuas Naval Bases.

ST Marine's US operations, VT Halter Marine, was awarded by OSG Ship Management Inc. to undertake the outfitting and commissioning of two 350,000 barrel articulated tug barge unit (ATB).

ST Marine won its first ShipPax Award 2009 in the RoRo concept category for RoRo vessel, "City of Hamburg".

ST Marine delivered its second RoRo.

ST Marine's first Submarine Support & Rescue Vessel commenced service for RSN.
