Estimates and judgements: Judgements made in applying accounting policies Information about critical judgements in applying accounting policies that have the most significant effect on the amounts recognised in the financial statements relates to assessing whether the Group has control over its investee companies. During the year, the Group assessed the terms and conditions of the shareholders’ agreement of subsidiaries that are not wholly-owned by the Group. The Group made critical judgements over: (a) its ability to exercise power over its investees; (b) its exposure or rights to variable returns for its investments with those investees; and (c) its ability to use its power to affect those returns. The Group’s judgement included considerations of its power exercised at the board of the respective investees and rights and obligations arising from matters reserved for the board as agreed with the other shareholders. 27 5 ANNUAL REPORT 2 0 2 0 / CORPORATE OVERVI EW PERFORMANCE REVI EW SUSTAINABI L ITY CORPORATE GOVERNANCE F INANCIAL REPORT
