BIOS-SHIELD™ enables endpoints to be secured remotely in today’s highly mobile technology landscape

Singapore, 26 February 2020 - ST Engineering and Janus Technologies today launched the BIOS-SHIELD™, Asia’s first firmware solution with a cloud-based management portal that provides enterprises  with a highly secure endpoint management and control. Enterprises are able to transform existing backend management to cloud, enhancing the security features of their endpoints remotely and addressing challenges faced in today’s highly mobile technology landscape.

On the user level, BIOS-SHIELD™ provides secure access to secured and unsecured networks at the same time. It also possess a unique capability of detecting malwares, performing a network isolation, and removing the malwares from the infected network with a simple reboot of the system.

BIOS-SHIELD™ blocks internet threats when users are browsing the internet and prevents unauthorised USB devices from accessing the computer. It also provides USB thumb drive encryption for sharing data securely. In the event of ransomware attack or software failure, BIOS-SHIELD is able to restore and recover data quickly.

The BIOS-SHIELD™ technology is being showcased at the RSA Conference 2020 from 23 to 27 February 2020 in San Francisco, California, Booth 4529, North Expo.
