Most innovations are the result of the collective efforts of many.
Research Translation @ ST Engineering was established to drive impactful translational research that will meet fast-evolving market needs and customer demands, by tapping into academia expertise, facilitating multidisciplinary collaboration and the sharing of knowledge and skills.
We currently partner with the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and A*STAR in translational research projects, focused on the following technology areas:
The ST Engineering Distinguished Professorship awards recognises researchers with outstanding contributions to the strategic goal of achieving impactful research translation. This is accomplished through knowledge sharing and collaborations with ST Engineering’s engineering and technology teams.
Our collaborations are focused on customer-centric product R&D to accelerate the development of technologies with real-world impact, by translating research outcomes from laboratory to prototype development, and from pilot scale into commercially viable products.
