Our team of professional trainers comprises Master Mariners, Marine Superintendents, Naval Architects and Chief Engineers with vast experience at sea and in the education and training field.

We offer courses mandated by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), and a range of maritime courses that encompass Nautical & Marine Engineering, Maritime Security and Auditing.

MPA Courses

Mandated by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), and endorsed by several Flag States, we conduct up to 13 mandatory courses on behalf of MPA.

Pilotage Exemption Courses

The course assesses participants on their knowledge of the Singapore port waters and proficiency in conducting the vessel safely in the port

The course is developed for shipmasters of vessels between 300 GT and 2000 GT navigating in the pilotage district Areas A and D, and between 300 GT and 5000 GT in pilotage district Area B. 

Port Limit Courses

To provide master of port limit tankers and bunker barges with an understanding of the principles of ship-handling and the peculiarities when operating at designated locations within the Port.

To familiarise harbour craft masters with the Port waters, Aids to Navigation and an understanding of Port Regulations so as to provide them with the knowledge required for safe navigation within port limits.

Tug Master Courses

To train and refresh participants on their knowledge of tug safety, in particular on crisis management & emergency procedures and knowledge of relevant MPA circulars.

 

Passenger Ferry Safety Courses

To provide masters and chief officers of passenger ferries with knowledge of port environment and safe navigation within port limits.

This simulator-based assessment is for revalidation of Passenger Ferry Safety Course and Assessment Certificate.

 

Oil Spill Control Course

This course is applicable for Masters and Engineers of Tugboats, and anyone intending to obtain a manning licence as a port limit helmsman or 2nd class engine driver. The course familiarises participants with the effects of spilt oil on the environment and the appropriate measures to take in dealing with oil spills.

Bunker Surveying Courses

Targeted at prospective bunker surveyors that fulfil the pre-requisite criteria, the bunker surveying course trains participants to carry out bunker surveying to comply with the requirements, procedures and documentation in accordance with the Singapore Standards, SS600:2022 – Code of Practice for Bunkering by bunker tankers using tank gauging, and SS648:2019 – Code of Practice for Bunker Mass Flow Metering.
