We serve various communities through a combination of volunteer work, skills-based contributions as well as in-kind and monetary support. Across the Group, our community investments and volunteerism efforts are guided by three focus areas: charitable gifts, education and engineering.
Through our ST Engineering MOVEment employee engagement and fundraising initiative, we raised funds for K9s For Warriors which supports military veterans who fought for our citizens' freedom to live.
We support nonprofit organizations such as Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Virginia who give gifts of hope, strength and joy to children.
We build modest and affordable homes for families, in support of organisations such as Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio in the U.S.
We supported a ground-up employee initiative with funding and resources to design and produce quality face shields for nurses in local hospitals in Baltimore, U.S., and made the 3D printing files available online for free.
We invest in local capabilities and support talent development programs to build a thriving community for sustainable, long-term growth.
Each year, we give out the Pensacola Mayor’s Scholarship to develop local aircraft talent in support of the Northwest Florida aviation workforce. We partner with Pensacola State College on an apprenticeship programme and provide “direct to industry” job opportunities for the academy’s apprentices.
We continue to grow and diversify our talent pool of qualified aircraft maintenance technicians to support the aviation industry in the U.S., collaborating with partners such as UPS.
“ST Engineering continues to prove they want to positively impact our community and be part of it. This scholarship shows ST Engineering’s commitment to providing educational resources to our citizens to grow in the aviation industry.“
Grover Robinson, Mayor of the City of Pensacola, 2019, on the Pensacola Mayor’s Scholarship.
