Through our subsidiary Middle River Aerostructure Systems, we are a world-leading OEM for thrust reversers, engine nacelle components and specialised aerostructures with a heritage of more than 90 years.
Our global team of engineers work closely with engine makers, airplane manufacturers and aircraft operators to provide comprehensive capabilities ranging from design and analysis to product development and series production. Our systematic design-to-cost approach maximises value for customers by delivering products efficiently and effectively.
We innovate our aircraft engine nacelles to trim aircraft fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Starting right from the conceptualisation and design stage, we collaborate with engine OEMs to develop integrated propulsion systems that help to lead to engines with lower weight, less fuel burn, less community noise and yet have better aerodynamics. We are currently involved with two nacelle systems that have been developed for integrated propulsion systems. One is for the GE Passport engine on Bombardier’s Global 7500 business jet, while the other is CFM International’s LEAP-1C engine for the COMAC C919 jetliner. Both programmes are developed with Safran Nacelles through our Nexcelle joint venture.
Our design features typically have individual entitlements of less than 1% as measured by fuel burn (consumption), and add up eventually to become part of the overall effort to cut fuel burn and emissions progressively on new aircraft.
We design, develop and produce the nacelle components on the following major programmes:
Our extensive suite of aftermarket solutions and services are available through our global network of distribution centres, satellite stores and repair shops.
