ST Engineering Hosts Global Cybersecurity Summit and Spotlights Innovative Solutions to Counter New Cyber Threats

Singapore, 4 July 2025 – ST Engineering today hosted its largest-ever Cybersecurity Summit, bringing together over 1,000 global leaders from government, industry, and academia to tackle pressing cyber challenges and chart the future of digital defence. With more than 25 years of experience, its Cyber business is one of Singapore’s leading cybersecurity providers, trusted across critical sectors and markets, and at the forefront of advancing national and enterprise cyber resilience.

Graced by Guest-of-Honour Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information, the summit drove thought-leadership in cybersecurity by bringing the industry together to discuss urgent issues such as AI-powered cyber attacks, the rising risk of quantum computing and explore strategies to stay ahead in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

“Now in its fourth edition, the summit centred on the triple threat of cyber, AI and quantum, spotlighting the urgent intersection of emerging technologies that are transforming the cyber landscape,” said Mr Goh Eng Choon, President of Cyber, ST Engineering. “It reflects our commitment to advancing the cybersecurity agenda by sharing insights, shaping strategy and showcasing solutions that secure what matters most to businesses and critical sectors.”

ST Engineering showcased 15 advanced cybersecurity innovations, purpose-built to protect critical systems – including capabilities that counter the next wave of threats from AI and quantum computing. Among the innovations featured were AGIL® Secure AI protecting AI and GenAI systems, EtherCrypt 1000 delivering quantum-safe encryption for quantum resilience, and AI-enabled solutions such as Adaptive & Intelligent Cyber Monitoring of OT Systems (AICYMO) and Agentic AI Cyber Analyst enhancing threat hunting and investigation across IT, OT and Cloud environments.

Another highlight at the summit is the launch of AI-Enabled Threat Elimination and Response (AETHER), a fully managed service developed specifically for the SME sector as part of broader efforts to support cyber resilience across the ecosystem. AETHER uses AI-driven behavioural analytics to detect both known and unknown threats, securing endpoint devices through integrated threat scanning, monitoring, and incident response. The service builds on the SME CyberResilience programme that was jointly launched with IMDA in May 2025 to help SMEs improve cyber posture.

The Cyber business has built deep end-to-end capabilities across hardware, solutions and services, grounded in its strong technology, research and engineering competencies to provide trusted cyber defence for critical information infrastructure and organisations. Today, it supports customers in 19 countries and 11 critical sectors, including energy, water, transport and more.
