ST Engineering Announces Strong Contract Wins of $4.9b for 3Q2025

Singapore, 23 October 2025 - Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) today announced that the Group secured strong new contract wins of $4.9b for the third quarter of 2025. This comprised $1.4b from Commercial Aerospace, $2.4b from Defence & Public Security, and $1.1b from Urban Solutions & Satcom. With $9.1b secured in the first half of 2025, the total contract wins for the nine months ended 30 September 2025 reached $14b.

Sustained Orders for Commercial Aerospace
Commercial Aerospace clinched about $1.4b in new contracts across its Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) and Aerostructures & Systems (A&S) businesses, signalling healthy demand and strong customer confidence. New MRO contracts included a multi-year agreement for Airbus A380 airframe heavy maintenance and cabin modification with a European airline, while the orders for engine and component MRO continued apace. On the A&S business front, the demand for engine nacelles and composite floor panels remained robust, supported by increasing new aircraft production, while the freighter conversion business received an A330 passenger-to-freighter order.

New Wins for Defence and Digital Business
Defence & Public Security won about $2.4b worth of new contracts across its Digital Systems and Cyber, Land Systems, Marine and Defence Aerospace businesses, reflecting strong market demand momentum for its defence and digital capabilities.

New contracts for the Digital Systems and Cyber business included the design and production of earth observation satellite systems for an international customer, the provision of AI-powered 5G edge solutions for local and international enterprise customers, data centre services as well as advanced cybersecurity systems and secure data transfer products including data diodes. Other contracts secured included next-generation broadband communications systems, as well as commercial satellite imagery and analytics services.

The Land Systems business scored its first 155mm ammunition orders from customers in South America in addition to new orders from Eastern Europe, and repeat orders for 40mm ammunition from international customers. It also sold several hybrid electric 4x4 protected vehicles to a customer in Asia while the Defence Aerospace business won contracts for military aircraft MRO. In addition to commercial ship repair contracts, the Marine business was awarded a contract with its consortium partner, Siemens Energy to build and deliver the Estrella del Mar IV, a barge-mounted power plant for Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.

Strong Wins for Smart City Business 
Urban Solutions & Satcom secured about $1.1b in new contracts, reflecting steady demand across its business lines. The Urban Solutions business continued to strengthen its position in the smart mobility domain, landing contracts to provide rail electronics solutions for the Thomson-East Coast Line Extension, long-term service support for its rail subsystems on the Jurong Region Line, and to deploy next-generation intelligent transport systems in Singapore while its tolling business in the U.S. secured new contracts for tolling systems, maintenance services and RFID tags. Its Smart Utilities and Infrastructure business was contracted to deploy its Doctor-on-Call healthcare ICT solution for hospitals in Hong Kong, and to deliver its integrated smart security management solution for customers in Singapore including a tertiary institution. The Satcom business won ground segment infrastructure contracts from the government segment and satellite service providers in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the U.S.

These contracts are not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated net tangible assets per share and earnings per share of ST Engineering for the current financial year.
