The Primus is a 155mm 39 calibre track-based Self Propelled Howitzer. Mobile and lethal, the Primus has a range of cutting-edge automation technology built into it, allowing a minimal four-man crew (inclusive of driver) to effectively operate the system. It is the lightest 39 calibre Self Propelled Howitzer in the world. The crew can select the type of ammunition via the fire control system and the ammunition is then automatically loaded by the Ammunition Handling System.
